Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is a pervasive pattern of grandeur (in fantasy or behaviour), need for admiration and a lack of empathy towards others. It usually begins in early adulthood and manifests in different contexts, The main challenges are work, interpersonal relationships and social life.
It is a Personality Disorder VERY RARE.It is estimated that the 0.5% to 1% of the general population suffers from it.
It is more common in men than in women (between 50 % and 75 % are men).

A person with TPN typically presents with 5 OR MORE of the following symptoms:
- Grandiose sense of self-importance (exaggerates achievements and talents).
- Fantasies of success unlimited, power, beauty, love ideal, etc.
- It believes that it is “special” and can only be understood by persons or institutions of high status.
- Need excessive admiration.
- It has a feeling of right to special treatment.
- Takes advantage of others to achieve their own ends.
- Lacks empathy.
- He often feels envy of others or believe that others envy them.
- Displays attitudes and behaviours arrogant or haughty.
